Registration
-All participants are requested to register online in advance or on-site at the registration desk at the venue.
-All presenters are required to register in order to make a presentation.
-To qualify for the Early Registration Fee, the application must be received by the secretariat no later than August 31, 2011 24:00 JST (GMT+9) and payment by Bank Transfer must be completed no later than September 5, 2011 15:00 JST (GMT+9).
-A Pre-Confirmation e-mail with the registration details will be sent to you after your online registration is complete and a Confirmation e-mail will be sent to you after the payment has been confirmed.
Please bring the print-out of the Confirmation e-mail with you to the symposium.
- IHS2011 has a NO REFUND policy.

- The regular participant's registration fee includes: Name badge, Programs and Abstracts booklet, Session Participation, Lunch Session, Exhibition, and Coffee Breaks.
- The accompanying person's fee includes: Name Badge, Access to Exhibition, and Coffee Breaks.
Payment Methods
After registering through this website, all payments must be made in Japanese yen by credit card or by bank transfer.
<Credit Card>-Payments are accepted only by VISA and Master Card.
-Payment will be made in a single lump-sum.
-Please note that your credit card payment will be drawn from your credit card account in the name of ISS, INC., the company serving as the secretariat for this symposium.
-Valid credit card information can only be tested up to 3 times.

Confirmation and Receipt
The Pre-Confirmation e-mail with the registration details will be sent to you after your online registration is complete, and a Confirmation e-mail will be sent to you after the confirmation of your payment is complete. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail from the Secretariat office within 1 month after your payment, please email the Secretariat (ihs2011-reg@issjp.com).
Please bring the print-out of the Confirmation e-mail with you to the symposium.
Receipt of your payment will be issued on the day of the symposium, addressed to the applicant under the name which was registered.

Cancellation and Refunds
IHS2011 has a NO REFUND policy.
Passport and Visa
A valid passport is required to enter Japan. Participants from certain countries may be required to obtain a visa to enter Japan. If you are uncertain about your requirements, please consult your nearest Japanese Embassy or Consulate, or visit the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html).
The committee requires payment of the registration fee as a condition of visa issuance. The secretariat will send an official letter of invitation upon request, through the registration form below, after the registration and payment are completed. If you require a visa to enter Japan, please download the Visa Information Sheet by clicking the relevant button, fill in all the details and send the sheet as an attachment to the Registration Office (ihs2011-reg@issjp.com) by e-mail.
The Registration Office will develop an invitation letter and a guarantee letter based on the information that you provide in the Visa Information Sheet and send them to you at the address specified on the sheet. Please make your own application to obtain a visa at the Japanese Embassy or Consulate once you have received the letter.
