1965
- The Company is established in Tokyo as a provider of language professional services.
- It handles simultaneous interpretation in five languages for the 4th World YMCA Conference.
1966
- The Company opens Japan’s first simultaneous interpreter training program.
1969
- The Company contracts for services provided at preparatory meetings for the Japan World Exposition (Expo ’70).
1978
- The Company begins dispatching personnel to overseas project sites worldwide.
1984
- The Company launches a comprehensive range of staffing services.
1985
- The Company is entrusted by the National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) with carrying out selection tests and English training for Japanese astronauts.
1986
- The Company establishes new Chinese interpretation and translation courses at its school.
1992
- The Company provides interpretation and translation services for astronaut Mamoru Mori’s Space Shuttle mission under contract to NASDA.
1996
- The Company launches recruitment services.
2002
- The Company provides interpretation in six languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and Korean) for the 2002 FIFA World Cup (Japan–Korea).
2004
- The Company handles conference management for the World Medical Association General Assembly in Tokyo.
2006
- The Company spins off its recruitment business as ISS Consulting, Inc.
2007
- The Company renames the school ISS Institute.
2012
- Honyaku Center Inc. acquires shares of the Company.
2014
- The Company opens branch offices in Kansai and Nagoya.
2015
- The Company celebrates its 50th anniversary.
- The Company transfers all shares of ISS Consulting, Inc.
2016
- The Company manages operations for the G7 Ise-Shima Summit and President Obama’s visit to Hiroshima.

- The Company provides language services for international media at the G20 Osaka Summit International Media Center.

- The Company absorbs the ISS Institute.
- The Company establishes dedicated remote interpretation rooms in its Tokyo and Kansai offices.
- The Company opens an online streaming studio at its Head Office.

- The Company launches web conference and webinar support services.
